Crystal Palace have made a big decision on Adam Wharton’s future as Tottenham continue to circle the midfielder.
While Spurs added Conor Gallagher to their squad this month, reports indicate that the Lilywhites are not done reinforcing their midfield.
It has been suggested that Tottenham want to add a creative midfield passer to their ranks, and they want one Premier League star more than anyone else.
Spurs view Adam Whaton as their ‘dream’ signing and are determined to spare no expense in bringing the 21-year-old through the door. Wharton was said to have a £100m price tag last summer.

Crystal Palace ready to sell Tottenham target Adam Wharton
TEAMtalk have now suggested that while Wharton is not expected to leave Crystal Palace this month, the Eagles have accepted that they will lose the midfielder in the summer.
As Tottenham and other clubs continue to plot moves for the 21-year-old, Palace have reached an understanding with the player that he will be allowed to leave at the end of the season.
In fact, the likelihood of Wharton remaining at the South London club beyond the end of this season is described as ‘almost zero’.
Sources close to the Palace expect the Selhurst Park hierarchy to demand a base fee of £65m for the England international, along with add-ons.
Spurs face plenty of competition for Wharton
However, Tottenham are not the only admirers of the former Blackburn man, with several top clubs in the Premier League being fans of the player, primarily Manchester United.
TEAMtalk say that the Red Devils have identified Wharton as a ‘prime target’ and are ready to rival Spurs for the midfielder’s signature.
Additionally, Liverpool, Newcastle United and Aston Villa are all keeping tabs on the 21-year-old as they eye additions to their engine room.
