Tottenham’s PL fixtures until World Cup compared with top four rivals

Tottenham have a golden opportunity to close the gap on Arsenal ahead of the mid-season break for the World Cup, with the Gunners having a trickier set of fixtures.

For Antonio Conte’s men, all eyes will be on the all-important Champions League clash against Marseille on Tuesday, with Spurs needing a point in France to seal qualification to the knockout stages.

However, following that, Tottenham will be pleased that they have two home fixtures in the Premier League before the mid-season break.

Spurs face Liverpool at home on November 6 before hosting Leeds on November 12, with the EFL Cup third-round fixture away at Nottingham Forest being sandwiched in between.

In contrast, Arsenal have two away fixtures in the Premier League, with the Gunners set to travel to Chelsea on November 6 before facing a tricky test away at the Molineux Stadium on November 12.

Chelsea, host Arsenal and then have to travel to St James’ Park to take on Newcastle on November 12, while Manchester United face trips to Villa Park and Craven Cottage. Pep Guardiola’s men take on Fulham and Brentford at the Etihad.

Spurs Web Opinion

Our home form has been very good over the past few months, and I believe we were unfortunate to lose against Newcastle. So, I would back us to beat the current Liverpool side at home and brush aside Leeds.

If Arsenal lose at Stamford Bridge, we could potentially be just two points behind them going into the mid-season break, although they would have a game in hand.
