Tottenham’s plans revealed for open top bus parade if they win the Champions League

Tottenham Hotspur will hold an open top bus parade in North London if they are successful in their quest to win the Champions League.

The official Spurs site have revealed that plans are already in place for the parade to be held on Sunday June 2nd, just hours after the match against Liverpool in Madrid.

If Spurs are successful against Jurgen Klopp’s side in what would be a historic first Champions League title, the bus will depart the 62,062 capacity seater Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at 2:30pm and will travel through Northumberland Park, Willoughby Lane, Lansdowne Road and Tottenham High Road before meeting at the point where the High Road meets the Park Lane with the journey taking around an hour.

Afterwards, the players and staff will exit the bus and gather on a temporary stage to give supporters another opportunity to see the trophy and join in the celebrations.

While some may consider this as pretentious, the club have to make these plans in advance in order to gain approval from the local authorities.

Fans will be hoping that they are lining the streets of N17 to welcome home their heroes in what will be a tough match against an in-form Liverpool side.
