Tottenham’s upcoming fixtures compared to top four rivals Man Utd, Arsenal and West Ham

Tottenham suffered a minor blow in their chase for Champions League football this week after suffering defeat at home to Southampton on Wednesday.

Despite leading twice in the encounter at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Spurs conceded two late goals in two minutes to see the match turned on its head as precious points slipped away.

But Spurs could have little reason to complain about the outcome, considering they had their backs against the wall for the majority of proceedings.

The defeat was compounded by Arsenal claiming a crucial 1-0 victory at Wolves on Thursday, despite having to play the final 20 minutes a man down after Gabriel Martinelli was sent off for two quick-fire yellow cards.

The win lifted the Gunners up to fifth and above Manchester United who were held to a 1-1 draw at Burnley, and a place behind West Ham in fourth after David Moyes’ side edged out Watford on Tuesday.

With just four points separating the Hammers and Spurs in seventh, here is a guide to each of the top four contenders’ upcoming Premier League fixtures as the race continues to heat up.

Spurs Web Opinion

These next few games could be key for Tottenham’s ambitions for qualifying for the Champions League, which is so important for the club going forward. Three away games in a row is tough, especially with one coming against Man City, but Spurs need to take each game as it comes to try and get the best result possible.
