Tottenham Hotspur striker Troy Parrott has confessed that he has yet to have a conversation with head coach Ange Postecoglou regarding what next season has in store for him.

Parrott will return to Hotspur Way high on confidence at the start of pre-season on the back of an outstanding loan spell at Excelsior Rotterdam.
A decision has to be made on Troy Parrott this summer
The centre-forward found the back of the net 17 times and provided five assists during his time in Dutch football and he also came off the bench to net the matchwinner for the Republic of Ireland in their 2-1 win over Hungary earlier this week.
Football.London’s Alasdair Gold revealed on May 28 that the 22-year-old is now attracting interest from across the continent, with sides from the Dutch top-flight as well as from Italy said to be monitoring the player.

Troy Parrott has not spoken to Postecoglou yet
It remains to be seen what Spurs decide to do with Parrott next season but the striker has now admitted that he has not had any discussions with Postecoglou about his future plans.
When asked if the Tottenham head coach has spoken to him about next season, he told Irish Examiner: “No, not yet. I’m sure I will have those conversations after my break. I just want to have a holiday and go from there.”

Given Tottenham’s lack of homegrown and club-trained players, Ange might want to keep Parrott around for the Europa League squad.
Having had a taste of regular football over the last couple of years, it remains to be seen if the Irishman is willing to accept a bit-part role again next season or wants to leave on a permanent basis.
Tottenham have an abundance of young attacking talent at the moment with the likes of Dane Scarlett, Jamie Donley, Jude Soonsup-Bell and Will Lankshear having all had solid seasons.
If Parrott is to remain at Tottenham, he finally needs to prove he can cut it with a good Championship or lower Premier League loan having failed to catch the eye at both Preston and Ipswich.
