Troy Parrott has admitted that he is completely in the dark about Tottenham’s plans for him, revealing that he does not know if he will have a pre-season with his parent club.

There has been plenty of excitement about Parrott since he was a teenager and after a couple of underwhelming spells in the EFL, the striker has shown at Excelsior Rotterdam this season just why there is so much hype around him.
The 22-year-old has found the back of the net 14 times and laid on five assists so far this campaign and his season is not yet over, with the Dutch club now facing a two-leg playoff against NAC for a place in next season’s Eredivisie.
It was reported by Football.London’s Alasdair Gold on Tuesday that the Irishman is now attracting interest from several top clubs in the Netherlands and Italy while some Championship sides are also monitoring his situation.
The journalist asserted that the centre-forward retains an ambition to establish himself in the Spurs first-team squad and added that Ange Postecoglou has a big decision to regarding the youngster this summer.

Troy Parrott admits he does not know if he will return to Tottenham
Parrott has now revealed that the Lilywhites have not communicated anything to him about what to expect next season.
He told Algemeen Dagblad: “My goal at the start of the season was to score as many goals as possible. I feel that Dutch football suits me.
“I enjoyed my first year in the Netherlands a lot, but I don’t know yet where my future lies. First two more games against NAC Breda, then possibly two more friendly matches with the Irish.
“Then I will think about my future during my holiday. Will I return to Tottenham Hotspur? I don’t know that yet either.”
Spurs Web Opinion
The technical nature and relatively slow pace of Dutch football is perfect for Parrott and it is understandable why a few top sides in the Eredivisie are eyeing a move for the striker.
I do think Spurs would listen to offers for the 22-year-old, who might be keen to make a move so that he can continue playing regularly.
