Troy Parrott takes to Twitter after making his senior debut for the Republic of Ireland

Tottenham Hotspur youngster, Troy Parrott, has already enjoyed a huge season for both club and country this year, despite Spurs’ dismal start to the campaign.

Parrott was a major part of the pre-season tour of Asia in 2019, impressing in the first few matches under Pochettino.

The 17-year-old was then given his senior debut for Tottenham as he started the match against Colchester United in the Carabao Cup earlier in the season.

Parrott also made the Champions League squad, and has regularly travelled with the first team, even being named on the bench recently.

The youngster was called up to the Republic of Ireland U21 side earlier in the season, scoring three goals in two games.

This month, Mick McCarthy decided to call him up to the senior squad, where he made his debut in a friendly against New Zealand last night.

Parrott managed to grab an assist on the big stage and took to Twitter after full time to react.
