Twitter reacts to Adebayor’s Spurs exit

Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Emmanuel Adebayor’s exit at White Hart Lane.

The club announced on Sunday morning that they had finally come to an agreement to release the controversial striker from his £100,000-a-week contract after he had already been frozen out of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans.

Adebayor had opportunities to move on transfer deadline day to both Aston Villa, where he could have linked up with former boss Tim Sherwood and also an offer from West Ham United but wanted his contract paid up in full which totalled £5million.
