Alfie Devine looks set for another season in the Championship, with two clubs from the second tier looking at borrowing the Tottenham Hotspur youngster.

Sheffield or London for Devine
It seems Devine will have the choice between sticking in London, or moving up North to Sheffield for the coming campaign, with Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday eyeing up the 20-year-old.
Word of Wednesday’s interest in the midfielder came from The Star early on Friday morning, with a report claiming Devine is one of the club’s targets before the transfer window closes.
It is said the Owls are looking to offload members of their squad as they try to find space for new faces. A number of names are being monitored by Danny Rohl, with Devine among on the shortlist.
More details emerged later in the day via Sam C of the United Stand, who tweeted: “Told Alfie Devine will be heading out on loan to a Championship side. Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday among those interested.”

Spurs open to loan move
Devine has been a part of Ange Postecoglou‘s squad this summer and has had a decent pre-season. But, a report from The Standard this week claimed he was one of three youngsters Tottenham were ready to send out on loan this season, along with Jamie Donley and Ashley Phillips.
The midfielder spent time on loan at League One side Port Vale in the first half of the 2023/24 campaign, before being recalled and sent to Plymouth Argyle in the Championship for the second half of the season.
Spurs Web Opinion
I really hope Devine goes to Sheffield Wednesday this season.
They’re playing great football under Danny Rohl, and being in Sheffield myself, it would be great to pop down to Hillsborough and watch him get some regular game time in an exciting team.
