Two injured Tottenham stars return to training ahead of North London Derby

Dejan Kulusevski and Yves Bissouma both returned to training at Hotspur Way this week ahead of Tottenham’s North London Derby clash against Arsenal.

Kulusevski has missed the last three matches through injury, with Bryan Gil stepping up and performing well on that right-hand side. Bissouma, meanwhile, had to pull out of the starting XI after he felt some discomfort in the warm-up against Portsmouth in the FA Cup at the weekend.

However, both Richarlison and Rodrigo Bentancur were nowhere to be seen for the Lilywhites, after both picked up injuries towards the end of the World Cup in Qatar.

Antonio Conte will be keen to get his injured stars back in the squad as soon as possible, with games coming thick and fast now, as the Spurs boss has been unable to rotate across the front line since the restart.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Kulusevski would have been my number-one pick out of all the injury absentees to return in time to face Arsenal, but I was really hoping to see Bentancur out there too. Spurs miss so much in the midfield when he isn’t playing.
