The Sun’s Tom Barclay and Football.London’s Alasdair Gold have denied reports suggesting that Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sign Romelu Lukaku.
As expected, since Harry Kane’s move to Bayern Munich, there has been plenty said and written about how Spurs will go about replacing the England captain.
One surprising name that has cropped up as a potential replacement for Kane is Lukaku, with reports from Italy over the last 48 hours claiming that Tottenham are exploring a move for the Chelsea man amidst Juventus’ inability to get a deal for the striker over the line (Calciomercato.it).
Alfredo Pedulla even asserted on Sunday that Spurs had already made contact with their London rivals over a deal for the Belgian.
