The race for Luka Vuskovic’s signature is now heating up after the centre-back expressed a desire to leave Tottenham.

Brighton have already failed with three offers for Vuskovic, with the highest of those allegedly worth £45m.

There have even been suggestions that the Croat could put in a transfer request at Tottenham, having been impressed with Brighton’s proposal and project.

In fact, some sources have even claimed over recent days that Vuskovic has agreed on the broad terms of a long-term contract with the Seagulls, but the South Coast club could now face fresh competition.

Liverpool and Chelsea eyeing move for Tottenham’s Luka Vuskovic

A new report in Bild has now also suggested that Vuskovic is unhappy with the lack of trust at Tottenham and is thus seeking to leave the club permanently.

The report claims that the 19-year-old continues to be on the radar of Barcelona, while two other Premier League clubs have also entered the race.

One of those is Liverpool, who are eyeing Vuskovic as a possible replacement for Ibrahima Konate, and the other is Chelsea, who are also keeping a close eye on the centre-back’s situation.

Spurs’ valuation of Vuskovic revealed after defender’s transfer decision

The Tottenham teenager has sent a big hint on social media about his transfer desire, ‘liking’ Fabrizio Romano’s post about Brighton’s latest offer for his services.

According to an update from TEAMtalk, Spurs are holding out for bids in excess of £50m for Vuskovic, who has not played a single competitive game for the Lilywhites.

Given the amount of interest in the youngster, the North Londoners would be hoping that a bidding war ensues and pushes up the price.
