Two Tottenham Hotspur players have been named in Garth Crooks’ team of the week following the 1-0 win at West Ham United.
Hugo Lloris is named between the posts by the BBC football pundit after his scintillating display at the London Stadium.
The Spurs skipper’s heroics led to manager Mauricio Pochettino labeling Lloris as one of the “best in the world” after making three excellent saves.
The other Spur to make the cut is Erik Lamela. The midfielder scored the match-winning goal after nodding in a cross from Moussa Sissoko just minutes before the halftime break.
Lamela has five goals so far this campaign, making this his joint-second most productive season for Spurs, and we are not even in November yet. He is now starting to show the quality that made Spurs part with €30million to secure his services from Roma in 2013.
Here is Garth’s team of the week.
