Report: Two Tottenham stars played golf with Chelsea legend John Terry this week

Harry Kane and Eric Dier put club rivalries aside as they enjoyed a round of golf with Chelsea legend John Terry at Wentworth this week.

Spurs fans obviously have no love lost for Terry and the centre-back certainly does not miss any opportunity to take a dig at Chelsea’s London rivals, as he did just last month (talkSPORT).

However, that did not stop Kane and Dier from enjoying a round of golf with the former England man at Wentworth.

Kane’s love for golf is well documented, with the striker taking on Tommy Fleetwood in a 3 hole golf challenge last year (Sky Sports).

The Tottenham striker even jetted 4,000 miles to Augusta immediately after playing in Tottenham’s 4-0 win over Aston Villa three weeks ago to watch the Masters (Sky Sports).

However, it turns out that the England captain was on the losing side this time out, with Terry posting a scorecard showing two-under-par for him and Dier.

The former Chelsea man wrote (via The Sun): “Well played partner @EricDier15 Defenders Union”.

As a result of the loss, Kane appeared to have to hand some cash over to Dier and Terry but that did not seem to dampen the striker’s spirits too much.

Spurs Web Opinion

I have already seen some Spurs fans on social media being upset at the fact that Kane and Dier spent time with Terry. I find that quite laughable as whatever one thinks of the former Chelsea man’s character, footballers are allowed to have private lives and spend their time however they want.
