Two Spurs stars downgraded on FIFA 20 after club’s poor start

Tottenham Hotspur have made a poor start to the season having secured just twelve points from their first ten Premier League games as Mauricio Pochettino’s men find themselves languishing in the bottom half of the table.

Several Spurs stars have underperformed so far this season with the defence, in particular, looking extremely suspect. So it should come as no surprise that two of Tottenham’s players’ ratings on FIFA 20 have now been downgraded.

According to a report in Football.London, both Dele Alli and Victor Wanyama have been downgraded in the latest FIFA 20 database update.

Alli missed the start of the season with an injury and hasn’t made much of an impact after returning to the team.

Wanyama meanwhile has had very little game time this season as Spurs have quite a few options in central midfield.

The report also claimed that Spurs’ summer signing Tanguy Ndombele has received a new look in the latest update.

Spurs Web Opinion

The downgrade on Alli is harsh considering the injury problems he has had. I have no doubt that he will get back to his best once he gets a few games under the belt. I would prefer him to play as close as possible to Harry Kane rather than a deeper midfield role as his movement and intelligence in the final third can be invaluable assets for the side.
