Two Spurs stars make impressive top ten list

Tottenham Hotspur have struggled with injury problems of late, with the likes of Christian Eriksen, Mousa Dembele, Jan Vertonghen, Dele Alli, Luke Amos and Vincent Janssen all on the side lines.

However, these issues have halted two Tottenham stars being named in an impressive top ten list today, as Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris are among the top consecutive starters.

Bookmaker Bwin analysed the starting line ups over the past 10 years of the Premier League, making a list of the top ten players to make consecutive starts for their clubs.

Hugo Lloris made 57 consecutive league starts between November 2013 and March 2015, putting him tenth on the list.

Kane managed to make the top five however, appearing 71 times in a row.

The table was topped by Everton’s Leighton Baines who managed 99 games in a row between October 2009 and April 2012.

Spurs will be hoping that both captain Lloris and vice captain Harry Kane can stay fit for the remainder of this season as they fight for four trophies.
