Two Spurs stars named in Neville’s and Carragher’s Team of the Season

Both Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville have included Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in their Premier League Team of the Seasons.

Son has enjoyed his most productive season in front of goal since his move to Tottenham in 2015, with the South Korean having scored 21 goals and registered nine assists in the Premier League so far (Transfermarkt).

The 29-year-old is just one goal behind Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah in the race for the Golden Boot and will be hoping to go past the Egyptian in Spurs’ final game of the season at Carrow Road.

Kane, on the other hand, had a lacklustre start to the season but the striker has been back to his best since Antonio Conte replaced Nuno Espirito Santo at the helm in November.

The England captain has amassed 16 goals and eight assists in the Premier League, and a total of 26 goals across all competitions so far (Transfermarkt).

Unsurprisingly, both Carragher and Neville put the Spurs pair in their Team of the Year as part of a three-man attack including Salah.

There is no doubt that both Kane and Son deserve to be in the Team of the Year. If Oliver Skipp and Cristian Romero had not missed significant chunks of the campaign through injury, they would have also had a shot of making it into the eleven.
