Two Tottenham games confirmed for live TV schedule at the start of the season

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that the club’s first two games of the season have been selected for live television coverage.

Jose Mourinho’s men, who have looked extremely well drilled during their pre-season matches so far, will kick off their Premier League campaign in just over two weeks time.

The Spurs boss will be hoping that all of his first-team stars return unscathed from the international break, which is scheduled just before the start of the season.

The Lilywhites start the campaign with Everton as the first visitors the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, September 13.

Spurs have a very good record against the Toffees over recent years and will be hoping that continues when they face off against Carlo Ancelotti’s men.

Tottenham then have an away fixture the subsequent weekend as they travel to St Mary’s to take on Southampton on September 20.

While the game against Everton will be live on Sky Sports, the clash against the Saints will be shown on BT Sport.

Spurs Web Opinion

Based on the form we showed towards the end of last season as well as the sharpness we have shown in our pre-season matches so far, I expect us to make a strong start to the campaign. Maximum points from our first two games will certainly do wonders for the team’s confidence going into what will be a long and hard season.
