The data analysis platform, Sofascore, names two Tottenham Hotspur stars among their best-performing eleven from matchweek 5.

Spurs sent out a statement against Brentford
It is not an exaggeration to say that there was plenty of doom and gloom surrounding Tottenham heading into the clash against the Bees, but the Lilywhites delivered a perfect response, silencing the critics with their brilliant performance.
Ange Postecoglou’s men showed how devastating they can be when things click for them, with the home side emerging with a deserved 3-1 win.
Dominic Solanke netted his first goal for his new club while Brennan Johnson and Maddison rounded off the scoring for the North London side.

Two representatives in Team of the Week
Maddison has been joined in Sofascore’s Team of the Week by Son Heung-min, with both Spurs players being handed ratings of 8.7.
While the attacking midfielder got his first goal of the season with a lovely dinked finish over the goalkeeper on 85 minutes, Son picked up two assists, setting up Maddison and Johnson for their goals.
Out of all the players in the Premier League, only Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson and Liverpool’s Luis Diaz had a higher Sofascore rating than the Spurs duo.
Key players coming into form for Spurs
Maddison has been impressive right from the first game of the season and Ange Postecoglou will be delighted to see the 27-year-old going from strength to strength.
The Englishman remains the main creative fulcrum of this Spurs side and is influencing games much more from a deeper left-sided eight role than as a number ten.
While Son would have been disappointed to not get on the scoresheet on Saturday, the forward showed clear signs of getting his sharpness back, being a threat in-behind the Bees’ defence and combining well with the likes of Dominic Solanke.
