Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to Jose Mourinho’s team selection for today’s match against West Ham United.
Spurs have won just once in seven top-flight away fixtures (D3, L3) and will be looking to stop the rot at the home of their London rivals.
Son Heung-min has been involved in six goals in his last five Premier League games against West Ham (3 goals, 3 assists), assisting in each of his last three against the Hammers. He has provided more assists against West Ham (4) than versus any other side in his Premier League career.
Mourinho sprung a surprise after naming Sergio Reguilon in his starting eleven in place of Ben Davies, despite the Portuguese claiming that the left-back would not be fit to face the Hammers (Football.London).
Harry Kane returns in attack, but Dele Alli and Gareth Bale both have to make do with a place on the bench.
Here is a selection of what the North London faithful had to say about the line up:
Jose would always be Jose

That’s… not exactly what most people wanted. But nice to see Reguilon back. Time to get behind the team… #EPL #WHUTOT #THFC #COYS

Lucas instead of bale is a disgrace. Also Rodon should start over dier, and Toby over Sanchez. Dele over lamela. Everything else… lovely.
