‘Utter shambles’ – Some fans react as Spurs blow 3-0 lead late on against West Ham

Tottenham Hotspur looked to be on course to follow up their 6-1 win against Manchester United with an impressive showing against West Ham today in North London.

However, after dominating in the first half, Spurs threw away three late goals to drop two points against their bitter London rivals.

Harry Kane assisted Son within the first minute of the match before the South Korean returned the favour inside ten minutes. Sergio Reguilon then set up Kane for the England captain’s second via his head.

In the second 45, West Ham came out looking more aggressive and more compact, while Tottenham sank further and further into their shell.

It looked to be the perfect fairytale day when Gareth Bale came on to make his second Tottenham debut, but Spurs managed to concede three between that point and full-time.

After a Balbuena goal from a set-piece was followed by a Sanchez own goal, Lanzini stepped up to smash an equaliser into the top corner with seconds left on the clock.
