Valencia leading chase for Pavlyuchenko

Valencia are now reported to be the front-runners to sign Russian forward Roman Pavlyuchenko.

Pavlyuchenko has grown frustrated with a lack of first-team opportunities and has been linked with a move away in January in order to boost his international prospects.

AC Milan had been linked, as well as Birmingham City and a return to Russia with Zenit St Petersburg or Spartak Moscow.

But the Sunday Mirror has claimed that Valencia are leading the chase for his signiture now.

Valencia have run up massive debts and may need to sell on star forward David Villa, with Pavlyuchenko to be brought in to fill that gap.

Spurs are unlikely to settle for anything less than the £13million they paid for him.

  1. It upsets me when keano plays bad and pavlo not given a proper run, when he was playing more often we played more attacking football, but I dont think he will want to stay after the way we treated him, good luck to him where ever he goes.

  2. MUST AGREE WITH THE ABOVE COMMENT THAT ROBBIE KEANE IS PLAYING KEEK AND PAVLYUCHENKO SITS ON THE BENCH , THE GUY NEEDS TO BE GIVEN A DECENT CHANCE TO SEE IF HE INDEED WANTS TO AT LEAST STAY IN THE PREMIERSHIP WITH SPURS .

  3. Fantastic comments above.I have my doubt about Harry.Remember he has many world class players and can not see Keane is useless.Pav has proven himself with Russia.Even Liverpool knew Keane was a bad buy.Anyway it is good to see decisions going Spurs way for a change, otherwise we would be see’ing Harry’s true skills….poor.
