Rafa refuses to comment on Shalke speculation

Rafael van der Vaart - Tottenham Hotspur news

Rafael van der Vaart is refusing to be drawn on speculation linking him with a move to Schalke.

The Spurs playmaker had three enjoyable years in Germany with Hamburg between 2005 and 2008, with his wife being a big celebrity in the country.  According to reports Schalke are keen to have Rafa to link up with his Dutch colleague Klaas-Jan Huntelaar who has been a revelation in the Bundesliga.

Rafa is known to be very happy at Spurs but the lure of a return to Germany could prove to be too good a lure to resist.  His comments below are a bit worrying, granted he wants his full focus to be on Euro 2012 – but if he is happy at Spurs, maybe he should come out and say so?

“I won’t say anything about it,” he told De Telegraaf.

“At the moment I am fully focused on Euro 2012.”

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. When are you fucking idiots masquerading as journalists going to research your stories fully instead of plagiarising the same bollocks over and over again resulting in making yourselves look even bigger cunts than you already are?

  2. let anyone wanker go who wants to go, get in the scott parkers of this world. An appeal to my fellow brothers of the spurs faith= turn off the euro championship on telly as a protest against the ukrainians and poles who are killing dogs and their puppies to clear up the sites for the games. Lets not let football go above nature and living creatures, turn the telly off ,dont watch the games please.this too for the olympics, if you are a people person or a dog person remember that these tornuments are against both.
