Jamie Carragher has said that the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is one of the best in the world at the moment.
It has been three and a half years since Tottenham moved into their new 62,850-capacity venue, which was constructed on the same site as the old White Hart Lane.
The transition was certainly not easy for the club, who had to play almost two entire seasons at Wembley due to some delays in the construction of the stadium.
However, the venue has now started to feel very much like home for Spurs fans, and unlike some other new stadiums, it has the advantage of the fans being close to the pitch, which has helped to retain the atmosphere.
In fact, Spurs legend Robbie Keane has even remarked that being in the stadium does not feel different to the old one, and that the structure has retained the ‘spirit’ of White Hart Lane (Football.London).
Carragher has now included the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in his list when asked to name his three favourite stadiums in world football.
The former Liverpool centre-back told Sky Sports Premier League (10:53 pm, October 10, 2022): “I would say Tottenham’s ground right now. I think very rarely we ever had an English team having the best stadium.”

Levy deserves a lot of credit for delivering such a beautiful stadium as it is not a soulless bowl like the Emirates or the London Stadium.
The fact that it has been created as a multi-use venue with a retractable pitch, has also multiplied its revenue generation potential, which will hold the club in great stead in the years to come.
