‘Very strong’ – Richarlison admits he is a fan of rumoured Spurs target

Richarlison has heaped praise on Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick, who is rumoured to be on Tottenham’s radar.

Endrick only made his senior debut for Palmeras earlier this month but his performances for the Brazilian club’s youth sides over recent years were reported to have caught the attention of several big hitters in European football.

Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola revealed on his YouTube channel Canal do Nicola (23/09/22 as relayed by Sport Witness) last month that the striker is on the radars of three Premier League sides in Tottenham, Manchester United and Newcastle United ahead of the January transfer window.

Mundo Deportivo subsequently revealed that Real Madrid and Barcelona are in pole position to snap up the 16-year-old, as things stand.

The publications asserted that Palmeras’ asking price for Endrick ‘will not be less than €70m (£61.3m)’ if European clubs do come calling for the teenager in January.

Richarlison has now given a glowing endorsement of the up-and-coming striker.

When asked about young Brazilian players who have impressed him, the Tottenham star told Copa90: “I think Endrick, he’s playing in Palmeiras. Yeah, he’s very strong, same as Adriano. Good player, I watch him play in the national team. I think in two years, he’ll be playing in Europe.”

Spurs Web Opinion

Endrick appears to be on the radar of many top European clubs, which suggests that he is seen as the potential next superstar from Brazil. I would be surprised if Tottenham got involved in a bidding war with the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona for the 16-year-old.
