Nicolo Zaniolo recorded a stunning hat-trick to help Roma overcome Bodo/Glimt to reach the Europa Conference League semi-final, amidst reported interest from Tottenham.
Zaniolo, 22, produced the best display of his campaign so far in the 4-0 win on the night, to take his tally of goal contributions up to 15 this term (Transfermarkt).
The Italian winger was restored to the starting line-up by Jose Mourinho and immediately repaid the former Tottenham manager’s faith by helping the Serie A side book a date with Leicester in the final four.
Zaniolo’s heroics come after a club in England recently made an offer to Roma about a transfer ahead of the new campaign (CalcioMercato).
Spurs have been credited with holding an interest alongside Liverpool, with the pair said to have made enquiries regarding a move this summer (Roma Live).

Zaniolo’s excellent hat-trick will make it a bit trickier to prise him out of Roma this summer, who will want to receive as much as possible for him if they do need to sell.
It also shows exactly why Spurs have held an interest in him over the last couple of seasons. Regardless, it will be interesting to see how this rumour develops as the season approaches an end.
