Video: A Spurs title win would be bigger than Leicester’s claims radio host

After winning three successive Premier League matches, Tottenham temporarily moved up to second place in the table which made some pundits sit up and take notice.

With Liverpool and Manchester City flying high, despite Spurs enjoying their best ever start to a Premier League campaign, they find themselves in third place in the table.

Such is the competitiveness in the top flight this season, talkSPORT presenter Jim White has claimed that if Spurs were to win their first league title since 1960/61, it would eclipse Leicester City’s recent surprise win.

TalkSport presenter Jim White has surprisingly said that if Tottenham managed to win the title this season, it would be a greater achievement that Leicester’s feat back in 2015/16.

White suggested that if Tottenham did go on to win it, the fact that they haven’t signed anybody in the last two transfer windows added with the injuries they’ve suffered would make the achievement better than Leicester’s.

He also pointed out that while all the big boys were having an off-year in 2015/16, the likes of Liverpool and Man City are in fantastic form this season.
