Video: A throwback to when Mourinho sang Kobe Bryant’s praises after joining Spurs

The world was shocked by the news that former LA Lakers star Kobe Bryant tragically passed away on Sunday in a helicopter crash.

The former NBA star and his daughter Gianna were among nine people killed in a helicopter crash in the city of Calabasas, California.

Tributes have been pouring in from across the sporting world for Bryant, who was universally recognized as one of the greatest basketball players of all time.

Some Spurs stars including Moussa Sissoko and Victor Wanama also took to social media to pay tribute to Bryant.

Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho was also known to be an admirer of Bryant, with the 56-year-old hailing the American’s professionalism in his first press conference after taking the Tottenham job back in November.
