Video: ‘Absolutely not’ – Kane responds to Piers Morgan’s Arsenal question

Harry Kane was a guest on this morning’s episode of ITV’s Good Morning Britain, with the Tottenham star going on the show to raise awareness about the Bobby Moore Fund, which aims to raise money for Bowel Cancer research and tackle the disease.

Predictably, host Piers Moran decided to begin the interview by showing a picture of a young Harry Kane in an Arsenal shirt and asked the striker why he switched allegiances.

The Tottenham talisman pointed out, as he had previously, that he had been with the Spurs academy since the age of eleven after being released by Arsenal’s academy.

Morgan then asked the England captain if he was itching to go back to his roots to which Kane gave quite a straightforward response.

Arsenal fans who use that picture as evidence to claim Kane as a Gooner are really clutching at straws given that the striker has been at Spurs for over 15 years now. If Kane did not love the club and was not Tottenham through and through, he would have already left, as there is no shortage of suitors for his signature.
