Video: Adele shows her true colours by singing famous Tottenham chant

Adele has reassured that she has not forgotten her North London roots and the club she supports as she was captured erupting into a rendition of one of Tottenham Hotspur’s most famous chants this week.

The superstar singer, born in Tottenham, was taking Vogue on an exclusive tour around her stunning Los Angeles mansion for its 73 questions series, ahead of the release of her long-awaited album, 30.

She admitted that she had decorated her home to resemble an English cottage in case she ever gets homesick, while it even features a Tottenham tube sign hung up on a wall to keep where she grew up firmly in her mind.

A vocal and well-known supporter of her local side Spurs, Adele was quizzed if she remembers the club’s famous ‘Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspur’ chant, which is played at the end of matches.

Without the slightest hesitation, she burst into a perfect rendition of the chant, to assure fans that the club still remains firmly in her heart – even from across the world.

It is still a shame that Adele wasn’t able to perform at Spurs’ ceremony for the new stadium two years ago, as that would have been the perfect opening to the new era. Hopefully, the club will be able to hold one of her concerts in Tottenham in the near future.
