With Mauricio Pochettino coming under considerable pressure following Tottenham’s poor start to the campaign, Jose Mourinho has been linked with the Spurs job in recent weeks (Daily Mail).
However, on the whole, Spurs fans haven’t reacted warmly to the idea of Mourinho replacing Pochettino but talkSPORT’s Adrian Durham has insisted that the Portuguese manager is exactly what Tottenham need to change the culture around the club.
Speaking on talkSPORT Drive, Durham argued that Jose Mourinho is guaranteed to help the club land some silverware, something Pochettino has failed to do during his five and a half years at the helm.
Watch Durham’s full take below:
"Mourinho being appointed manager of #THFC changes the culture and the way they do things."
"He's exactly what they need." ✅
"They are so starved of success."

Spurs Web Opinion
While Mourinho’s tactics were revolutionary when he first arrived at Chelsea, it is clear that football has evolved a lot in the past two decades and some of his ideas are now outdated. If Spurs wish to catch up with Manchester City and Liverpool, then they need a manager who is willing to take risks and play on the front foot. I don’t believe there is any chance of Levy sacking Pochettino at least until the end of the current campaign.
