Tottenham Hotspur took on Ajax in their Champions League semi-final first leg last night, unfortunately falling short at the new Spurs stadium.
An early goal from Donny Van de Beek for Ajax proved to be the only strike of the night, handing the visitors a lead in the tie and an away goal.
This certainly put the travelling fans in fine voice, but were there more Ajax supporters than there should have been at the stadium last night?
A number of Spurs fans on Twitter have claimed that large groups of Ajax fans managed to buy tickets in the home end, much to the annoyance of the North London faithful.
Tottenham fans struggling to get tickets tonight and there’s 25+ Ajax fans in our end! And went fucking crazy when they scored! Fucking joke! Please retweet this! #SpursAjax #coys #thfc pic.twitter.com/jVnVV30Nl0

@SpursOfficial Home fans told to sit down? Ajax fans allowed in our end? Stewards weren’t interested. #LaughingStock pic.twitter.com/UVpD6cj4Sq

Just did a 3 cab job to Tottenham taking 15 Ajax fans wearing Spurs scarves. The reason for the Spurs scarves is they all have tickets for the home end. There must be loads of Ajax fans that will infiltrate their stadium

Angry with @SpursOfficial . premium seats from official partner – get to gate. closed due to violance.Sent to other gate. Spend 45mins going in circles taking guidance from stewards. Leave ground and directed back in. Get to seats and surrounded by Ajax fans in home area. #ripoff

Lovely to hear and see Ajax fans in the home end. Stewards should stop taking notes of who is standing up and singing and get the membership numbers of who sold their tickets to the Dutch instead. Lifetime bans for all.

Can anyone explain to me how Ajax fans are in Tottenham seating?
Meanwhile Spurs fans are outside the ground with little plaintive signs virtually offering body parts in exchange for a ticket for tonight.

I sit in east stand upper block 525… there must have been at least 200 Ajax fans sitting in front and behind me. They all celebrated when they scored. Stewards did nothing….how the hell did they manage to get tickets for this game ? ???

Alot of Ajax fans in the home end where I was but tbh I don’t have a problem with them I have the problem with the spurs fans who sold their tickets for a massive profit on one of biggest nights in our history can’t blame Ajax fans for taking advantage of it
