Video: Alli makes honest personal admission about his first half performance

It was a classic game of two halves between Tottenham and Olympiacos at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last night. The visitors raced to a shock 2-0 lead, leaving Spurs facing the prospect of not qualifying for the knockout phase on the night.

However, the team rallied at half time and produced a much better second-half performance to end up 4-2 winners.

After the game, Dele Alli, who got Tottenham’s first goal just before the break, spoke of how disappointed the players were with their first-half display and insisted that anyone of the players could have been taken off instead of Eric Dier.

The goal from Alli just before half time was perhaps the most important moment in the game as it gave the team the confidence to come out in the second half and get after their opponents. It was also great to see Mourinho being proactive with his decisions and not being afraid to change personnel when things aren’t going according to plan.
