There has understandably been a lot of concern surrounding Everton midfielder Andre Gomes’ well being following the nasty injury the 26-year-old suffered against Spurs onSunday.
Thankfully, Everton have confirmed that he has been discharged from the hospital after having surgery to repair the fractured dislocation on his right ankle. The Portuguese international is expected to make a full recovery from the injury.
Following the outpouring of support from football fans over the past few days, Gomes has now taken to social media to post a message thanking the supporters for their positive messages.
The midfielder posted the following video:
Thank you for your unconditional support! 🙏

Spurs Web Opinion
This is certainly positive news as the injury looked like it could be a career-threatening one when it occurred. We at Spurs Web would like to wish Gomes the best with his rehabilitation. Let’s hope that Gomes recovers soon and that Son Heung-min is also able to put this incident fully behind him as the Spurs forward seemed to be badly affected by it.
