Andros Townsend has suggested that, if Spurs cannot get any of their top choices into the head coach role this summer, then why not look towards Ryan Mason for a full season.

The former Spurs winger who came through the academy ranks with Mason in North London, claimed that he has seen signs of change under his old teammate.

The Crystal Palace midfielder refused to say that Mason would be a gamble, hinting that opting for an expensive manager who wasn’t the club’s first choice would be more of a gamble.

  1. A club that doesn’t know what it is looking for. So is Potter better than Jose? By far. Miles apart. Jose was never supported but I undermined from the onset by British media and pundits, yet suggesting a coach who has failed to be even on number 6!
