Andy Gray and Darren Fletcher both had their say on Jose Mourinho’s implied comments on Tanguy Ndombele’s performance against Burnley.
The Frenchman, who moved to North London last summer in a club record £53.8m was named in the starting line up for match at Turf Moor yesterday evening (BBC).
Ndombele was hauled off at half-time by Mourinho and suggested that the midfielder’s performance in the first half was partly to blame for having to make a change to his formation which resulted in a signficant improvement in performance for the second half (Daily Mail).
Former Manchester United midfielder Fletcher wants to see the 23-year-old respond to the criticism with an improvement in his performance while Gray believes that there has already been signs of a rift between Mourinho and his player.
