Video: Andy Gray question’s Tottenham’s game plan after Everton loss

Andy Gray has accused Tottenham Hotspur of having any thought process or any clear idea during the match against Everton.

Spurs slumped to a 1-0 home defeat against Everton after Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s decisive goal on 55 minutes and looked short of ideas against Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

Gray, who played for Everton between 1983 and 1985 claimed that the visitors were not troubled defensively with Harry Kane rarely having a kick of the ball.

The former striker stated that despite Everton having a single goal lead going into the latter stages of the game, he was not concerned due to the lack of threat which Spurs posed to Jordan Pickford’s goal.

Jose Mourinho was critical of his side’s performance after the match and questioned the mentality of his of his players (Guardian).
