An unsavoury incident occurred in the aftermath of Tottenham’s 2-1 loss to Ipswich Town, with Ange Postecoglou not taking kindly to what one fan shouted at him from the stands.

Bruising result for Tottenham
This game was pencilled in as a relatively easy three-pointer by most Spurs fans, given the side’s excellent record at home and Ipswich’s struggles in the Premier League this season.
However, predictably, Dr Tottenham came to Ipswich’s rescue, with two first-half goals from Sammie Szomodics and Liam Delap being enough to see the newly promoted side register their first Premier League win in 22 years (Optus Sport).
The result came as a huge blow to Spurs and Postecoglou, and the Australian was not in a good mood after the full-time whistle.

Ange Postecoglou’s awkward stare-down
A video doing the rounds on social media shows that Postecoglou was not too pleased with what one fan shouted at him as he was walking down the tunnel.
The Tottenham head coach was filmed entering the dressing room after the final whistle, with boos being heard from the home fans.
Just as the 59-year-old is about to walk out of view, he pauses and glares at a fan or a group of fans in the crowd, seemingly displeased by what was shouted at him.
Postecoglou takes responsibility for the result
The Spurs boss did not make any excuses after the loss, admitting that he is ultimately responsible for the side’s lack of consistency. The Australian coach vowed to fix that problem, insisting that he could help the players overcome this weakness.
When asked about Tottenham’s passiveness, Postecoglou told Football.London: “That’s down to me. That’s my responsibility. The inconsistency we’re having this year, ultimately it comes down to me and my approach and something I need to try and fix and see if I can help the players in that area.”
