Tottenham Hotspur fell to a 1-0 home loss last night in the Champions League, putting them firmly on the back foot in the tie against RB Leipzig.
The Germans have the lead and the away goal at half-time in the round of 16 fixture, with a game to be played at their home ground in three weeks’ time.
Dele Alli seemed more frustrated than anyone during the match, with the Englishman having been replaced by Erik Lamela in the 64th minute of the match in North London.
Lamela’s arrival helped to spark Spurs into showing some desire to battle for the ball and take the game to the Bundesliga side, but unfortunately could not find the back of the net.
Dele could be seen throwing his water bottle and boots to the floor in frustration just before taking his seat on the bench:
Dele clearly angry with his performance tonight and evidently not happy with being subbed off either. #THFC #COYS pic.twitter.com/wqHwhEVxTo
