Video: Dele Alli’s furious reaction after being substituted against RB Leipzig

Tottenham Hotspur fell to a 1-0 home loss last night in the Champions League, putting them firmly on the back foot in the tie against RB Leipzig.

The Germans have the lead and the away goal at half-time in the round of 16 fixture, with a game to be played at their home ground in three weeks’ time.

Dele Alli seemed more frustrated than anyone during the match, with the Englishman having been replaced by Erik Lamela in the 64th minute of the match in North London.

Lamela’s arrival helped to spark Spurs into showing some desire to battle for the ball and take the game to the Bundesliga side, but unfortunately could not find the back of the net.

Dele could be seen throwing his water bottle and boots to the floor in frustration just before taking his seat on the bench:

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. Without a doubt this is down to Daniel Levy not signing a back up striker. To say other players at the club can play the role is just another way of saying great we don’t have to pay for another player so more money for the board, Levy and Lewis. They are causing burn out of players at the club and preventing the club from winning anything. They have set the club up to win nothing but to the uneducated it looks a good squad. Spurs will never win anything under enic because enic are money driven first and foremost.
