Video: Arsene Wenger has his say on Lo Celso escaping a red card

Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was critical of the decision not to send off Giovani Lo Celso in the 2-1 defeat at Chelsea.

The Argentine was at the centre of controversy on Saturday when his challenge Cesar Azpilicueta with stud marks on his shin after an apparent stamp.

Wenger was left bewildered as to why the officials at Stockley Park needed three minutes to review the incident, when upon the first viewing it is evident that it is worthy of a straight red card.

Officials at Stockley Park did not even give Lo Celso a yellow card following a VAR review and the PGMOL later admitted that they had made mistake due to human error and should have given the former Betis man his marching orders (talkSPORT).

Wenger was appearing as a pundit for beIN Sports during their live television coverage of the London derby and had the following to say.
