Video: Arsene Wenger makes blunt assessment of Spurs after Man City loss

Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur were never in the game against Manchester City yesterday evening.

Spurs went close to taking the lead when Harry Kane hit the frame of the goal from a free-kick in the 14th minute but rarely threatened at the Etihad after that moment.

Wenger claimed that after City had scored their second goal of the game in the 50th minute, there was no reaction from Jose Mourinho’s side with the hosts having a more comfortable game than they may have been expecting.

Tottenham have now lost four of their last five Premier League games, as many defeats as in their previous 28 league matches.
