Gareth Bale was back in the starting XI and back on the scoresheet this evening as Spurs recorded their first win under Ryan Mason against Southampton.
The Lilywhites started the game poorly and were second best heading into half-time 1-0 down after a lethal Danny Ings header.
However, the second half was a different story as Bale got his side back in the match with an expert top corner finish before Heung-min Son secured all three points from the spot.
🗣 “Very good team talk at half-time.”
