
Tottenham Hotspur finally ended their pursuit of a new striker yesterday when they announced the loan signing of Carlos Vinicius from Benfica.
The Brazilian forward will remain at Spurs for the duration of the 2020/21 season, with the Lilywhites paying just £2.7m for the privilege (BBC).
Daniel Levy will then have the option to make the deal permanent at the end of the campaign for just over £40m if Tottenham see fit.
