Wales found themselves 1-0 down after just nine minutes of their crucial Euro 2020 qualifier against Croatia in Cardiff.
Nikola Vlašić put the away side ahead to silence the home crowd in a match which Wales realistically need to win to keep their Group E hopes alive.
When it looked like Ryan Giggs’ side would go into the half time break a goal down, Tottenham defender Ben Davies stepped up with an inspired piece of play.
The Neath-born player found himself in the final third of the pitch and played a one-two with Gareth Bale before bravely competing for the ball and playing a perfect pass into the path of the former Spurs player who made no mistake with his finish.
Spurs fans will certainly want to see more of this from Davies in future, he can often be considered to be a ‘safe’ player who likes to do the simple things.
Huge goal for Wales ???????
If there's one man you want in on goal, it's Gareth Bale! Superb footwork and finish.
