Video: Bent claims Mourinho may not be a fan of summer signing

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Darren Bent has claimed that it was inevitable that Harry Kane was going to get injured.

Kane suffered a hamstring injury in the 75th minute of Tottenham’s New Year’s Day defeat at Southampton and was spotted leaving St Mary’s on crutches (Daily Mail).

The club have since confirmed that the 26-year-old has torn his left hamstring but did not reveal the grade of the tear or how long he is expected to be out of action for.

Bent believes with the amount of football which Kane plays for club and country it was only a matter of time before he picked up a problem.

The 35-year-old has suggested that Spurs need to bring in another striker during the January transfer window whilst also highlighting that Jose Mourinho also needs to address his defence and holding midfield position.

Bent went as far as claiming on talkSPORT that Mourinho may not even be a fan of club record signing Tanguy Ndombele.
