Tottenham Hotspur closed the gap on Chelsea to just four points yesterday as they defeated Man City 2-0 at home thanks to goals from Bergwijn and Son.
Bergwijn earned his first start on his debut for the Lilywhites after transferring from PSV just days before, and he certainly started his Spurs career with a bang.
Playing in a front line alongside Son, Lucas Moura, and Dele Alli, Bergwijn managed to open the scoring with a sensational chest and volley past a diving Ederson.
He later joined Jamie Carragher in the Sky Sports Studio to analyse the goal:
Could he be the Premier League signing of the January transfer window? ✍ pic.twitter.com/cXgJuDUpJt
