Video: ‘Build something better’ – Fabio Paratici gives first Spurs interview

Tottenham’s new managing director Fabio Paratici has promised Spurs fans that he will work tirelessly to deliver better results on the pitch in the coming years, in his first interview with Spurs TV.

The official confirmation of Paratici’s appointment on Saturday did not come as a surprise, with reports previously indicating that the 48-year-old had already started working on appointing the club’s next head coach.

Daniel Levy has revealed that he will be delegating all football operations to the Italian, who the Spurs chairman hoped would be able to replicate the success he had in Turin, in North London.

Paratici also hinted in his interview that he is taking up a similar role to the one he had at Juve where he was in charge of the entire footballing department, including the first-team, recruitment, academy and women.

Paratici’s arrival is arguably much more crucial for Tottenham’s long-term ambitions than the new managerial appointment. Our recruitment has been hit and miss for the last few years and the 48-year-old should help remedy that.
