Tottenham Hotspur’s international players were back in training at Hotspur Way yesterday after representing their respective nations.
The cameras were rolling for part of Jose Mourinho’s session which saw the players take part in a team basketball session.
Recent summer signing Matt Doherty decided to show off his finishing skills when he decided to cushion a half volley into the air and into the basketball net.
Gareth Bale and assistant boss Joao Sacramento were equally as impressed with the piece of skill when they decided to mob the right-back.
Doherty would have been hoping to have shown the same level of accuracy when he missed from twelve yards in the Republic of Ireland’s penalty shoot out against Slovakia which ended his nation’s hopes of an appearance in next summer’s European Championships.
