Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville both discussed Tottenham’s title aspirations after the Lilywhites edged out Burnley 1-0 on Monday Night Football.
Both pundits admitted that they have reassessed their predictions from the start of the season about Tottenham finishing outside the top four.
However, while Neville insisted that Champions League qualification would be an excellent achievement for Jose Mourinho’s men, he claimed that he could see them challenging for the league title.
Carragher admitted that he would love to see Tottenham win the league if Liverpool are not able to, just to see Mourinho prove his critics wrong.
Watch the former Manchester United and Liverpool stars discuss Tottenham’s title credentials on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football:
"I'd love to see Mourinho win again, in terms of sticking two fingers up to me and him!"

Spurs Web Opinion
The majority of pundits had Tottenham finishing outside the top four at the start of the season. It looks like those pundits have now pivoted to ‘Spurs have no chance of winning the league’. I sense another pivot coming in a few weeks, especially if the likes of Bale and Lo Celso get their match sharpness back. I believe we have as good a chance as anyone of challenging Liverpool for the crown.
